5 Nurse Clipart Images

Today we have a nice collection of Nurse Clipart Images. Since I am from a family of Nurses… my Mother, Sister, my Sister’s husband, as well as my niece are all nurses … I simply had to put a collection of vintage images together on this topic! As you will see they are all pictures of women, I have not come across any male nurse images from before 1925, so that is the reason why.

Nurses are often the unsung heroes of our society, working tirelessly to care for people who need it most, they deserve a lot of credit and appreciation. (And especially right now with all that’s been going on.) A way you can do that is by making a craft, or handmade card, in honor of your favorite nurse! I hope you enjoy the images below and that you can find a use for them.

Retro Nurse Clipart Images

Here we have a sweet black and white clipart image of a nurse in uniform. In the headshot, she wears the white cap that nurses wore in the mid 20th Century. She has such a pleasant expression on her face, and is attractive and so professional looking as well. At least that is my interpretation!

Above is a retro Nurse Clipart Graphic. The nurse in uniform and cap, is holding up her index finger like she is thinking about something important. Maybe she is providing instructions to a patient. Her curly, close cropped hair looks like a style from the 1940s. She truly is the perfect representation of what my vision of a nurse would look like. She has a serious yet kind and caring expression on her face.

How cute is the precious little Girl Playing Nurse Color Page?! This one is from a wonderful old Coloring book. The printable I’ve created of this darling Child nurse taking care of her little cat is just so sweet! I wonder what she is actually administering to the cat. He doesn’t seem to be very happy about taking whatever it is! It is a full size page that can be printed out and colored in, and might work nicely for embroidery too!

Vintage Nurse Photographs

What do you think? Is the fine looking group of young women above comprised of Nursing students? I do believe however that these ladies are most likely students having a class photo taken for a yearbook or something similar. Some of them are smiling whereas others display more serious expressions. Anyhow, they should be proud of themselves for pursuing such an admirable profession in my view! Aren’t nurses the best?!!

I was so excited when finding an old book on the history of nurses from which this vintage photo of a nurse in full uniform comes. I wish the quality of the photo was a little better, but it still is an interesting image. My initial reaction when seeing her was a stern yet compassionate look on her face, interestingly similar to the two illustrated nurses in this series. This might make for a fun card for a nurse that you know!
