12 Medallion Clip Art
Today we have an impressive collection of Medallion Clip Art! The images featured below are beautiful black and white graphics of rosettes from an Antique Ornamental Design Book in my stockpile! Some of them are amazingly ornamental in design. A few are modern looking with sleek design elements. All are nice Medallions to use in your DIY Decoupage, Card Making, or Wedding logo projects! These would make wonderful Photoshop Brushes, which are great for your digital art as well! You could even dismantle them and use the various design elements separately. They would also be fun to color in. There is so much to work with here!
Old World Medallion Graphics
Above we have an exquisite Old World Rosette or Medallion Ornament Illustration. The fine shading and shadowing of this drawing provide a three dimensional look of the piece. I love the floral look and feel. It features a five petaled floral center element opening into large petals with fleur de lis like veins.
This Antique Rosette features shell and foliage elements. The Medallion has a central four petal design with shell and leaf outer pieces. I love the ruffly edges of the leaves. Again, the crosshatch shading gives it a 3D depth.
Here we have an Old World looking Rosette or Medallion Ornament. This one is my favorite! I’ve never seen one like this with the Acanthus Leaves spilling out over the edges of the circular frame. Very pretty!
Ornamental Medallion Images
Featured above is a wonderful Ornamental Medallion from the 1870’s Design Book! I really like the modern look and feel of this one. The central image reminds me of a sunflower. Isn’t it beautiful?!! I can just imagine coloring it with bright yellows.
This captivating Ornamental Medallion drawing reminds me of a vintage auto logo for some reason. The pointed diamond shape elements are beautifully rendered. Perhaps it is a representation of a sundial or clock.
I think this is a fascinating Ornamental Medallion picture! This one reminds me of lotus leaves. The spade shapes are decorated with line work and dots. I would love to separate those leaves out for some DIY projects.
From my perspective, the above image has an Aztec look. The outer black band with white leaf design is definitely eye-catching. The central eight pointed disc is quite interesting. I wonder what it symbolizes? Such amazing detail and intricate patterns are represented here!
The central floral design of this happy Medallion clip art graphic reminds me of Pennsylvania Dutch patterns and stencils. The outer circle appears to be sun rays with a dot in the center. I think this would be a beautiful design for a plate!
This fun Medallion also has that Pennsylvania Dutch pattern look to me. I imagine it colored in blues and golds. I could swear I have eaten off a plate with this design at some point in my life!
Medallion Clip Art Pictures
This handsome Medallion image is simple in design, yet very interesting to look at. The eight pointed leaf shapes are drawn with parallel lines. The open elongated diamond shapes in the center of each leaf has a silhouette of a little flower. Enchanting!
There is so much to see in this Medallion illustration, which is another example of amazing intricate patterns. Geometric square and triangle shapes fit nicely with rounded oval and floral elements. The linework gives shape to the piece. It looks a bit like a Snowflake!
Pictured above is a fabulous Medallion from the Design Book that is truly captivating! The central white pointed star shape on black gives the piece weight. The little leaf designs and tiny fleur de lis give it a certain French flair. Oh la la!!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Medallion Clip Art! You might also like our 50 favorite wedding graphics and DIYs HERE!
