4 Vintage Paris Architecture Postcards
Today I’m sharing a fabulous collection of Vintage Paris Architecture Postcards. Back in 2010, I picked up an entire book of these wonderful Antique Paris Postcards at an Antique Market. I’m pretty sure it was probably the Lucketts Antique Fair, just outside of Leesburg, Virginia, at Old Lucketts Store. I was a dealer there for quite a few years and the fair was, and still is, a fantastic event! It’s so large now that they have to have it off site, as it no longer fits on the grounds by the shop where it used to be held. Most years it’s held in the month of May, although this year they have moved it to the Fall. I highly recommend it if you live near by, or find yourself in the area at that time! I found a lot of wonderful paper goods that weekend, but the Postcard book was my favorite for sure.
Notre Dame Postcard
Here we have the famous Notre-Dame. How grand it looks! If you look very closely you can see some tiny motor cars and even a horse and some wagons. Everything looks so small next to this immense building! Obviously this was well before the fire and damage that occurred in 2019. Such a sad and terrible thing that was! I love the pretty muted pink and blue sky in the background on this one too.
L’Arc De Triomphe
Next we have the marvelous and romantic looking L’Arc de Triomphe. This is one of my favorites from the souvenir book! It looks like we are viewing it at either sunrise or sunset, as the sky is all ablaze with color and framing up this magnificent architectural structure so beautifully. Again, when you see how tiny the people are next to this building, you can really get a sense of it’s impressive stature.
Hotel De Ville Postcard
This is a wonderful vintage Paris Postcard! The postcards caption reads Paris – L’Hotel de Ville – The Town Hall. Such gorgeous architecture! I believe this was a Hotel at one time and then later was repurposed as a government structure. The Mansard roofs are really quite striking!
Next up we have another fabulous antique photo postcard, this time we see a view of the Paris Opera House! How Grand and ornate this building is. There are some amazing looking Angel statues on the roof. Even the light fixtures are quite decorative looking. We see many well dressed people approaching the building in this old photo.
I hope you enjoyed this wonderful curated collection of Vintage Paris Architecture postcards! You might also like our Vintage Architecture Prints HERE for more lovely Antique Buildings and related images. And our Eiffel Tower Collection HERE.

Hi Karen,
Wow, I am lost for words on these fabulous buildings. Talk about gorgeous! Even the built in statues are so amazing with such intricate detail – and bigger than life itself. These are amazing! I am sure we would be gazing for days upon days! Even the light posts are huge – such royalty. I love all of these – just can’t pick a favourite out of this collection, that’s for sure!
