Here’s what I found for you this week:
Several people have asked me for eye glasses or old time spectacles, over the last few months. I was pretty excited to find these, with the eyes in them and all! These come from an 1880’s catalog.
Kristi was wishing for a Beehive for her parent’s homemade Honey! This brown one is classically shaped and the Bees are included!
Tracy has been searching for Darcy-esque Men. I couldn’t resist that one as I’m a huge Pride and Prejudice fan and a huge Colin Firth fan as well. Just ask my husband!! Okay getting back on topic… these men come from an old Costume book, lent to me by my good friend Ted. Thanks Ted!
And lastly Meryl requested a Barn. This one came out of an antique 1880’s reference book. This one looks so neat and tidy!
Well, that’s all for this week. Do you have a request for an image? If so please leave it here in the comments section of my Request Day post, and then check back on Thursday to see if I found your requested image (Sorry but I can’t fill every request, I usually pick a few each week). Each week I go back and check under my Thursday posts to find what your looking for, it’s so much easier for me that way. I’m afraid I’m a very disorganized Fairy, so please, please please Do Not email requests to me, I most likely will loose it if you do. So sorry but I’m a complete mess when it comes to email! I’m afraid they’re just aren’t enough hours in the day to answer them all, and then I feel horribly guilty.
P.S. Don’t forget to use the search page here on my blog, you might find that the image you want is already here!Share

Thanks!

I was very excited to see the flower fairies here. Print Shop had a bunch of them a few versions ago, but they haven’t included them lately. Could you do more of them, please? I’m pretty sure there were more in Print Shop. I used them for place cards for a birthday with a lot of people. The b’day girl was named Betty, so I used the Bouncing Bet (the pink one you have here) for hers. Thank you so much for all the work you do!

I was wondering if you’d be willing to email me (or post on your website) – although I’d be happy to pay for it – a high resolution copy of your vintage music sheet (I want to make it the background on a 20×24 poster I want to make)? Again I’d be willing to pay for your time.

Hi Karen,
Our blog uses your beautiful pink swirls and roses for two column minima only
(http://www.backgroundfairy.com/2009/07/free-blog-background-pink-swirls-and.html)
It would be awesome if you could reconfigure this for a three column or to work with the picture window three column. I’ve searched for another replacement, but just can’t be happy until we get this one expanded, it’s perfect for our website–which needs expanded too.
Our cozy tearoom is experiencing great success, please take a look.

If you won’t be able to do this, please let me know so I can stop hoping and waiting.
