8 Old World Santa Images

Today we have a jolly collection of Old World Santa Images! These are traditional Victorian Style Santas,  featuring long robes and many times a hood, sometimes a crown of Holly. Not quite like the Santa that we see today, with his red pants. There are some cute round Santa Clip Art Images that I thought would be perfect for making Handmade Cards, or Stickers to stick to the back of an envelope, for your Holiday Cards!

Old World Santa Images

Pictured above is a beautiful Old World Santa Clause Scrap piece! This gentle faced Victorian Santa has a brown sack full of Toys slung over his shoulder. A horn and an elf doll are ready for delivery at his side. He is wearing a long bright Red Coat with fur at the neck, cuffs, and hem! A fur hat protects his head. He holds a tall walking stick in hands that are covered with bluish green gloves.

This is a cute round Santa Clip Art Image. Shown above is a lovely old world Santa. He is framed by a lovely Traditional Holly Wreath with luscious red berries and a golden sleigh bell. I love the color combo on this one. I think it’s very striking with the Red, Green, and bright Yellow Gold background!

Here we have another Old World Santa with Christmas Pudding Image! Shown above is a fabulous Santa with a Holly crown circling the fur on his classic Santa cap. He’s holding a yummy looking Christmas Pudding topped with a sprig of Holly. At the bottom of the card is a Christmas Greeting that reads, “A Cheerful Xmas. Had I all the wishes in the world to give, I give them all to you.” I wish someone would have sent this one to me!

This is a nice Vintage Christmas Image! Pictured above is an old Advertising Card displaying a traditional looking picture of Father Christmas. He is holding a big Bowl of hot Wassail and a large elaborately engraved stein to drink it from! I love the lush Holly Wreath on his head! The gold typography on this one is just amazing!

Here is the latest addition to this collection. This one has nice soft tones. Our old world fellow appears to be wearing a pale blue hood and a fur trimmed collar. There is a sprig of Pine peeking out behind his hood too.

This is a beautiful picture. This guy looks like he is super strong… strong enough to carry bags full of heavy toys! He has quite a long white beard too.

Victorian Santa Claus Images

Featured above is a gorgeous round Victorian Santa Claus image from the cover of a book called “Chatterbox 1920!” The book shows gently aged edges and corners that I really like. I isolated the circle that contains the Classic Father Christmas for you. There is snow falling around his red hood. His beard is just beautiful. I wish I could meet him on Christmas Eve!
