Victorian Hand Fan Scraps
Isn’t this stunning?!! The Antique Scrap Piece shown above is an elegant Pink Victorian Hand Fan Image with bright blue Forget Me Nots! Painted on the tiny dark ribs and the side piece are additional Colorful Flowers. It has beautiful French typography. So lovely!
Pictured above is another very pretty French Fan!! This one is made in a gorgeous light Blue. I love the French Typography and the pretty Roses on this one.
This is a lovely Graphic of a Ladies Fan! The Fan is Red with some pretty Blue Flowers on it. It has the words “True Love” added to one side. How romantic!
Here we have a lovely Scrap Die Cut Piece, a pretty Ladies Fan! The one is Pink and has a Winter Landscape scene on the front of it. It appears that two people are walking in the snow. It sure looks cold! There’s a little note from an admirer on the base of this that reads, “To one I admire.”
Antique Hand Holding Fan Picture
This is an Antique Victorian Calling Card showing a Woman’s Hand with a Fancy looking Fan! A colorful, cute Hummingbird flies amongst a bunch of Flowers with lots of nectar! The original card is at the bottom, and I’ve also included a version of the image extracted from the background.
Old Feather Scrap Fan
This is a marvelous Victorian Scrap Fan! It is made up of gorgeous brightly colored Peacock Feathers with a Mother of Pearl handle. What a great idea. Beautiful!
Victorian Fan Clip Art
Here are a couple of lovely Ladies Vintage Fans with long Tassels! These came out of an 1880’s book, from a chapter on Etiquette. I think the one at the top is a really versatile image, as there is a space where you can write on it. Two Butterflies can clearly be seen on the second image. This is an amazing Spencerian Pen Flourished Fan with an engraved Hand. Made of delightful Feathers, the hand held part is so pretty, and the ink strokes are just beautiful!
This one was scanned from an Antique Ladies Fashion Accessories catalog. It’s a gorgeous black lace model with hand painting on it. Depending on the size this one cost as much as $10.00 at the time. Which would have been quite a lot of money back in 1894!
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here we see a ladies hand holding her elegant accessory. This one came out of an old Printer’s book in my collection.
Above is a sweet Feather Victorian Fan Image! Scanned from an Antique, Circa 1860 Ladies Hand Book, this book is filled with all sorts of sewing and embroidery designs, among other things! Featured is a Fancy looking one made of Feathers, with a wooden handle. There are also two pretty little Tassels on it!
This is another lovely one! Scanned from the Ladies Hand Book as well, above is a beautiful Embroidered version with a Wooden handle and Feathers all along the edge of the fan. Such an impressive piece of Victoriana!
