They can be used to create your own crafts like wood signs or pillows, or you can print them out and use them as decoupage for painted projects. Foxes are one of the most adorable animals out there … who can resist their dog like faces and their big fluffy tails?! The best part about these fox images is that they’re free to download and use in your crafts!
Cute Fox Drawings
I’m adding several new pictures today… some adorable Children’s book type illustrations. I don’t even know which one is my favorite, there is so much cuteness here! Shown above is a beautiful Mama Fox with her adorable baby! Such a sweet scene.
Next we have a darling young Fox Drawing. This little guy, or girl, is hiding out in some flower bushes.
Another cutie here! It must be Winter time as this fluffy fellow appears to be sitting on some snowy ground. Perhaps that’s why his coat looks extra thick.
This is a fun little Fox Drawing. He is sitting quietly and watching with his beautiful eyes.
Isn’t this the sweetest little family?! I think what we have here is a mama and her 2 babies. So sweet!
These are two darling Baby Foxes from a set of Retro Christmas Cards that I really treasure! Such a sweet scene, with the holly, snowy branches, and little bird! These date to around the late 1950s to early 1960s. I have the original box, and there is no copyright date on them. I don’t believe they held a copyright, but can’t be 100% certain, so please keep that in mind when using these. Probably best to use for personal projects only. Hopefully you like these cuties as much as me!
Vintage Fox Images
Displayed above is a fabulous Vintage Fox Image! This wonderful Animal engraving was scanned from an early Natural History print from France! Such excellent details on this image such as those big whiskers! I wish I had a date for you. There isn’t one on the print, but I’m sure it is quite old and most likely Hand colored. I liked the face on this guy because he looks quite sweet. I hope you like this charming fellow!
Here is the latest addition to this collection. This guy has a lovely gray fur coat! It probably helps him to hide as he blends in pretty well with the gray rocks around him.
Most of the Vintage and Antique Fox Images aren’t that cute. The ones that I have found, for the most part, have sort of snarling looks on their faces as if they are up to something, so I was glad to find the one above. The card says that this is a ‘Fennec’ fox, which is the smallest of all foxes, measuring only 14-16 inches long, plus the tail! He has extremely large ears! This little fox is in a beautiful mountainous landscape scene. Such a sweet expression is on his face. His head is down and appears to be looking intently at something. He’s from an old Advertising card, and I think he’s pretty sweet!
Beautiful Fox Drawing
Above we have a lovely Drawing of a Fox from a 1915 Drawing book! The black and white illustration shows a fox standing in an unusual pose. His face looks fairly peaceful. You can see the pencil or charcoal strokes used to give shape to the fox. The tail is magnificent. I love foxes because their faces look so much like my sweet Corgi!
Fox Silhouette
This Free Vintage Image is a cute and quirky looking Fox Silhouette! The fox comes from a Circa 1880’s Printers book in my collection. He looks a bit frightened I think by the way he is crouching down, or maybe he’s just curious. As mentioned before, it is hard to find vintage fox images that don’t look ferocious or devious, so this one was a lucky find! He would be a good one to use on a DIY project for a Lodge Style home!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Drawings of Foxes! You might also like our Best Animal Images HERE.

I love foxes! I had one by my front door one night. I heard something and looked out and there he was sniffing around my front door. Then he went down the steps and trotted down the sidewalk like he owned the place! They’re beautiful, and smart “as a fox”! Thank you.

J-A, What an amazing story! I’ve never heard of that happening before!

I love foxes, too. There was a family that lived next door to us when we lived near London and they adopted our cat as their friend!
