Cute Kimono Advertising Cards
Pictured above is a lovely, colorful old advertising card for Brooks Spool Cotton. Such pretty vibrant colors on this one! A large fan with ‘Brook’s’ written on it is being shown off by an attractive lady as three other people are relaxing in the background. Is that perhaps a musical instrument or a fancy pipe held by the person sitting on the right?
This is a sweet little Victorian advertising card!! The card doesn’t indicate what is being advertised. Displayed above is a little girl in a bright green Kimono with a shimmering pink fan! She is sitting on a tree branch as three cute and colorful butterflies surround her. A nice whimsical piece here!
The Vintage Graphic is a cut out from the Advertising Trade Card above. I thought she was quite cute with her Green Japanese Kimono, Red Paper Fan, and Red Sash!
This one is just so cute and colorful! Shown above is an old advertising trade card for Dentaroma toothpaste. The card features three lovely, almost identical looking ladies wearing brightly colored Asian style Kimonos and holding tooth brushes. The card reads, “No! We can Never be persuaded to use anything for our Teeth but Ricksecker’s Dentaroma.” Such a fun subject I think!
Kimono Lady Pictures
This is a lovely Old Japanese Photo Postcard! Shown above is a beautiful Japanese woman in a traditional costume. Wearing a lovely pastel colored Kimono, she also has a Pink Flower in her elaborate hairstyle. I was told that she is a Geisha, but she is not wearing the makeup that you typically see on these ladies, so I’m not sure. Either way it’s truly a lovely card!Featured above is another Vintage Japan Postcard! This card shows a beautiful Geisha Woman wearing a Kimono and holding a Parasol! I suppose the man standing next to her is going to pull the cart she is sitting in. That sure is an interesting bowl shaped hat he is wearing!
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here is a portrait of a beautiful Geisha girl. Her Kimono is so lovely with those orange flowers and blue background!
Fun Kimono Lady Images
Here we have a Lovely Vintage Lady on Moon Photo! This is such a cute picture! The photo shows a young Woman in a Kimono seated on a Crescent Moon. She has Stars all around her. I find this one to be quite surreal!
Here we have a smiling woman who seems to be having lots of fun as a Kimono lady with fan and fancy Kimono attire. Perhaps she was an actress photographed during a scene in a play. Regardless, she makes me happy just by looking at her expression!
Kimono Lady Images
My friend Marian once lent me some wonderful antique books, including a 1912 lessons book that this image came from. Dressed in a Kimono and holding a baby, this sweet graphic is such a lovely drawing of a Japanese Woman. So precious!
Above is a Beautiful Vintage Geisha Lady Image! This one comes from a book in my collection, a rare Circa 1907 Pyrography Catalog! This intricate design of a lovely young Geisha Lady! She is wearing a pretty Kimono and holding a Parasol. She has flowers in her hair, as well as two tiny fans! I love the floral frame on this one too!
I hope you enjoyed this lovely curated collection of Kimono Girl Images! You might also like our Medieval Ladies HERE.

Good Morning Karen,
Wow, these images are pretty cool! There are a couple of them that I greatly admire for their own reasons. The Brooks Spool Cotton – their attire – so nice and colourful. And the lady on the right is standing on a very hardy spool of thread!! Who would think of that?
The lovely smiling ladies that advertise the toothpaste – they all seem to be very happy showing off their bright whites, holding the toothpaste (that’s a different kind of container than what we have been used to.) I love the different hair accessories they are wearing too. They are beautiful!
With the Old Japanese Photo Card – she is gorgeous and I love her attire with the patchwork style of textile they used. I can imagine all of the detail that went into it if we were to see her classy kimono in full. Very beautiful!
I love the picture perfect smile on the Geisha Girl holding her parasol! And the cart she is sitting in is absolutely amazing with those gigantic wheels! Her patient guide by her side is ready whenever she is!! I love this one too!
The lady sitting on the crescent moon – they seem to have those kinds of poses a lot. Her kimono sure seems to look very comfortable!
Now….Marie Studholme is really a hit out of all of these! There is a lot going on in this photo! Her hairstyle with such pretty embellishment, her beautifully layered attire, the exotic, yet feminine jewelry of strands of pearls – OMG, this is captivating, This would make for a very pretty framed picture for a bedroom. This has got to be one of my favourites out of all.
