5 Vintage Hippo Images

These are some wonderful Vintage Hippo Images! These Hippopotamus pictures would be great for kids to use in School Reports or perhaps for Teachers to use in various Printables for their students. These huge wild animals are quite fun to just look at too!

Here is the latest addition to this collection. This hippo is lovely! He has such a sweet smile and very kind eyes. I still wouldn’t want to get to close to him, but I think he is quite cute!

This next one is quite a wrinkly looking Hippopotamus! He’s standing on a little patch of land near some water. He appears to have spotted something interesting off in the distance.

This wild animal has less wrinkles than some of the other pictures on this page. Perhaps he is a younger one. It’s a nice full color image on a creamy background.

Today I’m offering this marvelous Vintage Hippo Image! Shown above is an illustration of a lovely Hippopotamus grazing on some vegetation. This one was scanned from an 1880’s German Natural History Book. Nice for your Wild Animal Themed Projects!

Here we have another beautiful Hippopotamus! This one was also scanned from an Antique German Natural History book, but it’s a different book than the one above. This guy has meandered down to the water to get a drink. He’s a bit messy as some appears to be spilling out of his mouth. Haha!
