2 Vintage Rhino Images
This is an interesting collection of Vintage Rhino Images… or Rhinoceros actually, if we are going with their full title! Apparently that is a Greek word that means “nose horned” so I would say these guys live up to their names. You would think with that big horn and their huge size that they would be meant eaters, but as it turns out they are vegetarians. These images were scanned from Antique Natural History books in my collection. They would probably work well in school projects or reports or in any project where you need to add a little something (or big something!) Wild.
Today I’m offering this Vintage Rhino Image! Shown above is an illustration of a lovely Rhinoceros heading for the River. This one was scanned from an 1880’s German Natural History Book. Nice for your Animal Themed Projects!
This next lovely Rhinoceros image, shows our big boy in a very plain setting. Just grass and sky around him and not a tree or bush in site. Hopefully he can find some vegetation not too far off. This one was scanned from a Circa 1885 Natural History book in my collection. This is from the book that I often refer to as “the moldy book”, some of you may recall that story from previous posts. Haha!
I hope you enjoyed this collection of Vintage Rhino Images. You might also like our Hippo Image collection HERE.
