12+ Kate Greenaway Illustrations

Today we have an adorable collection of Kate Greenaway Illustrations! The images featured below are beautifully drawn color pictures. These illustrations were created by one of my favorite Artists named Kate Greenaway. We have Vintage pictures of children in the garden and by the sea. One has an Oval shape that I think would make a nice sticker or tag. There is a darling picture of five little Girls reading books on a Bench that would be perfect for Back To School themed projects! All of Ms. Greenaway’s images are nice for your Handmade Cards or Mixed Media Projects!

Above is a pretty Girl wearing a White Regency Style Dress with a Blue Sash and a matching wide brimmed Hat! I love her tiny blue shoes! She’s standing next to a lovely Garden with a green picket fence!

Here is the latest addition to this collection. This one shows a lovely young woman on an Autumn day. She is walking through an Apple Orchard with a basket of freshly picked fruit!

Kate Greenaway Kids by the Sea

Shown here is a charming picture of two young Girls playing in the sand, with the Sea just beyond. I love the Oval shape of this illustration, which displays such a beautiful landscape.

Featured above is a charming picture of Four little Girls standing on top of a Tall Tower that is in the Sea. It appears to be a little House with a blue row boat next to it. Such a fun scene!!

This is a very sweet Vintage Illustration showing two Kate Greenaway Children!! Featured here is a charming picture of a boy and a girl… brother and sister perhaps? They are seated up on a little green hill, watching the Sea and all the Sailboats below.

Above we have a Cute Vintage Children on Sofa Image! Shown are three Darling Children dressed in their finest clothes, and sitting on a Red Sofa! I love their cumberbuns!

Pictured above is another wonderful Vintage Kate Greenaway Illustration!! This is a darling picture of five little Girls reading books on a Wooden Bench. Aren’t they cute?

This is a very sweet Vintage Illustration showing two Kate Greenaway Children!! Pictured here is a charming picture of Two Little Girls seated upon the branch of an Apple Tree. The tree is loaded with Apples! Their outfits are just precious.

What an adorable Vintage Kate Greenaway Children Image!! Featured here is a fun Vintage image of Five little Girls. Each Girl is dressed in blue, and holding onto the skirt of the girl in front of her to make a chain! Such a sweet picture!

This is a Charming Vintage Children with Lambs Image!! Displayed here is a sweet Vintage image of three little Girls. The Girls are wearing simple white dresses with straw hats, and each is holding a darling Baby Lamb on a Ribbon leash! Such a sweet picture!

Here we have another wonderful Kate Greenaway Image!!! There are three Cute little Girls in their pretty frocks. All are out for a stroll in the Garden! Maybe they are dancing!

Above is an adorable Vintage image of some charming Flower Girls!! Featured here is the loveliest picture of 10 pretty little Girls, all carrying pink Bouquets. The Girls are walking under a series of pink Rose Garlands. It could perhaps be a May Day Ceremony or a Wedding!

Here we have a charming Vintage Friendship Image! Shown is a sweet image of two Children; one is a Spring Girl and the other a Winter Girl. The Winter Girl looks like she’s tired, as if she is allowing her Spring friend to take over so that she can rest for a bit!

Holy cow! Thanks Karen these are so adorable! I love Kate Greenaway. I had posted a comment a while back that I have a huge red farm coloring book with Kate Greenaway images. I was wondering if you have hints for scanning something as large as 12X17ish. I received it as a gift when I was a child. My grandmother got it for me and I traced it back to 1950’s. I would love to share them if I can figure out a way to get them scanned. Thanks for the lovely images and everything you make my day!

  It sounds like you have a wonderful treasure! Because the book was published in the 1950’s it may still be under copyright, so I probably wouldn’t be able to share them here, although they do sound wonderful!! If you would like to scan them for your own use, you will probably need to scan them in sections, and then have someone photoshop them together and shrink the size down in order to print them out on a regular size sheet of paper. Thanks anyway for the offer, I do appreciate the thought!
