Vintage Sheet Music Covers
This is an amazing piece of early sheet music titled “Crown Diamonds.” Of course, it has the most marvelous crown image on it! I used to use this one a lot on Etsy as a back drop for vintage jewelry and such. This one comes from an antique bound sheet music book, that includes music from the 1850s – 1870s.
Swoon!!! I’m over the moon for this Amazing Ephemera Music Cover! This one is my favorite! The title of it is “Birdie Darling,” and it features a beautiful woman releasing a bird from its cage out to the sea. What a romantic image!!! I adore the original version at the top with the torn edges, stains, and all. I created a second version all cleaned up for those of you that prefer it that way.
Here’s another one of my wonderful old covers! This lovely piece features a sweet cherub holding an arrow. The music is “Opera Yetiva” and is dated 1888. A wonderful piece of ephemera!
This is such an awesome cover to some early Antique Sheet Music! This one features two gorgeous angels flying. I just adore anything with angels!! I also love the beautiful sepia tones on this one. Make sure you click on the image to bring up the largest size.

Antique Sepia Toned Music Title Pages
Above is another beautiful Antique Music Title Page! The typography on this one is stunning. I love how the word ‘Piano’ has been illustrated with flourishes and scrolls. It has a strong musty odor, but is still worth saving as these wonderful early ephemera pieces are hard to find. I hope you like it.
Here we have a fabulous find with the loveliest flourishes and scrolls along with the perfect sepia toned colors. I really liked the staining on this one so I left it alone. I love that it can be used as a frame or label. Be sure to click on it to get the largest size and see all the gorgeous details!
Pictured above is the cover of some old vocal music. The title of this piece is “Katey’s Letter.” The piece is “Sung by Madame Parepa Rosa” and was composed by Lady Dufferin. I love the romantic typography on this one. The frame surrounding the edges is beautifully illustrated with lovely ornamentation. You see scrolls and flourishes with lots of floral bits as well on a lovely, aged sepia background.
This is a really gorgeous cover to some very old (circa 1866) music! The cover has the most wonderful banner across the top, along with loads of flourishes and scrolls, and of course some marvelous typography!
Ooooooh!! This one is so wondrous, don’t you think?!! It is the cover to some old sheet music, found in a book full of bound music. The book dates to the 1880’s. The typography on this Vocal Beauties Opera piece is amazing! I love all of the scrolls too. I’ve left the foxing and other age stains intact, and I think the patina on this one is perfect the way it is!
Old Sheet Music Covers in Color
Aren’t these fabulous!!! This is a stunning antique cover for an Irish Ballad from an antique music book! This piece has gorgeous engraved green flowers and the most amazing frame. I’ve included the floral frame with the typography removed under the original so that you can use the frame by itself for whatever you like.
Featured above is a gorgeous cover to some old music done in the loveliest shade of Salmon pink. It features a wonderful frame that’s embellished with loads of festoons, garlands, flourishes, and scrolls! I think these boxes would be so great to use as frames or labels.
This one is just so pretty. From the cover of some old piano music, the title of this piece is “Le Secret.” You can see on the cover a darling cherub, lots of flowers, and some scrolls and flourishes. A very romantic piece for collage work! Make sure you look at all the fine details of this one.
