18 Bee Graphics
Today we have a charming collection of Bee Graphics for you! I’ve been on a Bee kick lately! I just love old Bee images! Good Bee pictures are so hard to come by. However, we have a wide variety of bees below, including quite a few full color images. The humble Bumblebee is featured in several ways and of course we have the all important Honey Bee as well. We also have some Black and White Bee sketches. They would all be fun to use in your Spring or Garden themed Craft Projects! I think most of them would look lovely on a set of Coasters, or perhaps transferred onto a pretty Tea Towel! How about creating a cute Beeswax Candle Label?
Honey Bee Images
This is a wonderful Vintage Stock Image of a Honey Bee! This Bee comes from a Circa 1840 Natural History Book about Bees! Pictured above is the most fabulous Bee Graphic from the 1840’s book! Oddly enough, I went to great lengths to get this one. This was a black engraving on a sepia toned paper, that has been extracted. I believe it is also a Honey Bee.
Above we have a beautiful rust colored bee with black markings. His wings are a golden yellow color and seem small compared to his body. This one looks like another Honey Bee to me.
Graphics of Bees
This gorgeous Bee Print with bright red marking on its lower torso is so visually appealing. The pink and gray wings are delightful. Look at those huge golden eyes. I just love this one!!
This fabulous Antique Bee image is from a Circa 1843 Natural History Print! He’s a Carpenter Bee with lovely Blue and Purple Wings! I truly love the intricately drawn patterns of the wings. Amazing!
Featured above is another fabulous Antique Bee with lovely patterned wings image from a Circa 1843 Natural History Print! There are red markings throughout the bee print. This one is Bee #12 or B12 as I like to call him. Haha!
This is a lovely Brown Bee Graphic. He has soft warm tones that would work well with a natural theme or perhaps for Autumn projects. Charming!
Here is the latest addition to this collection. This one looks fairly similar to the one above, except that his body is all black.
This is a gorgeous golden Bumble Bee from an early Natural History book! I just love the golden color on this Bee and all of his captivating detail!!
Above is a Marvelous Bumblebee Clip Art Image! This beautiful Bee was scanned from an Antique European Natural History Print of a classic (almost real looking) Bumblebee with black and yellow stripes and a furry looking body. Quite a nice looking little fellow!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! This is an amazing early picture of a large Bumble Bee! This one is from a very old book, circa 1860. He is positioned slightly askew in this drawing.
Here’s a fun one! It’s a charming bumble on a watercolor blue background. Cute!
This Free Stock Image is a fabulous Vintage Bumblebee!! There’s something so precious about this one; it has a wonderful hand drawn look to it, and I love his plump striped body!!
Here we have another wonderful Free Stock Image of a Bumble Bee! Isn’t he lovely?! I like that this soft fluffy looking Bee is posing in a sideways pose.
Black and White Bee Pictures
Pictured above are some Honey Bees from an early agricultural book. The Queen, Drone, and Worker are shown here! The Queen Bee is really large!
This is a nice Vintage Bee Picture! Shown above is an old Black and White Image of two Bees. I like the casual hand drawn appearance of these little guys!
Here we have 2 Bees that are hovering around a chunk of a Honeycomb. One is flying and one is on the comb, probably working! I’m afraid this one was scanned a long time ago and is low resolution. I know I still have the page that this was on, but I had to cut it out of the book at the time, and I haven’t come across it yet. As soon as I find it, I will update it here.
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Bee Graphics! You might also like our Antique Bee Prints HERE or our Best Farm Related Images HERE!

Great pics. Most, if not all, of the bees in your collection are female. The drone is the only male bee. . With todays emphasis on using the correct pronoun, just sayin

This is probably a stupid question, but some of your images are available in mirror image format but others are not, is there a way to print them all with a mirror image?

Hey, glad to see you’re still posting graphics! I haven’t clicked on your site in a few years because it used to take so long to load with the heavy ads. Glad to see the lighter version and fast loading even through there are still 28 trackers that ghostery picked up.
Karen Watson says
Hi Diane, Glad to see you back! Without the ads, I would have no budget to purchase the graphics with, so they are a key component here. I’ll be moving my site to WordPress soon and it should be even faster then!
