Do you love handmade signs? I am such a fan of DIY signs and I especially love them when they use graphics from here at The Graphics Fairy. I’ve got 17 DIY Hand Painted sign ideas that were created using my graphics and then submitted by readers. From bicycles to French typography, there is a DIY sign project to fit anyone’s taste.
One of the great things about creating your own signs and artwork is that you can truly customize it anyway you want. Some of the unique things that readers did with my graphics have me amazed at their creativity.

Another fabulous project from The Sunflower Cupboard is this French Hydrangea Sign. It is the perfect combination of The Graphics Fairy’s Antique French Letter and bright blue hydrangea.
Always feel like it is a day at the beach with this super cute painted beach scene from The Sunflower Cupboard. I think the vintage sketch of a child at the beach works so perfectly on this sign.

I absolutely love this vintage mermaid artwork! It is such a great use of the beautiful mermaid graphic.
Vintage Reflections did a fantastic job on this country kitchen sign featuring the vintage clip art – chicken with a fancy tail.
This is another great way to use the vintage bicycle clip art! I love how this adorable sign turned out and the bright red flowers just add the perfect touch of color.
How fabulous is this DIY Apothecary plaque? French Velvet Horses made it using the French shoe factory transfer.

It’s been interesting to see how these vintage signs like these have started to make a comeback into businesses and shops as well. Signs like these can be a great way to reflect the personality of your business to help attract customers. If you don’t have the time or the skill to make vintage signs like these, there are businesses out there that specialize in different styles and layouts that you can buy to stay professional. Thanks for the tips. I’ll keep them in mind if I ever start my own business.

I want a small, 3″x 5″ metal French sign that has a Strawberry with a slash thru it – we have several from France trips but this one I would like to find/have made as my husband can’t eat his favorite fruit anymore … Suggestions?
