7 Birds of Prey Images
Today we have a spectacular collection of Birds of Prey Images! You will find below a few wonderful, and somewhat scary looking, vintage Vulture Images. They vary a lot in their appearance. We also have a section of birds with their catches, kind of icky but interesting all the same. These birds include some Hawks and a Magpie. All are spooky vintage Birds of Prey pictures to use in your Halloween Craft Projects! I think that the Vulture graphics would be especially ideal for a Halloween bottle label or party invitation.
Vulture Images
Pictured above is a nice Vintage Sitting Vulture Image. The colors and detail of this Bird are so accurately displayed. He has long dark gray wing and tail feathers. There is a cluster of white feathers encircling his neck like a fur collar. His eyes are a bright red color. Vultures are important in nature because they are scavengers, meaning that they literally help clean up the environment by foraging for and eating the remains of dead animals. Vultures serve an important function in Nature.
Here is the latest addition to this collection. This bird next bird of prey image is another Vulture. He has a pink face and yellow beak, brown and white feathers and his feet are pink as well. This guys is definitely not the prettiest bird around! But he is quite interesting looking.
Here we have another Vulture. This bird is quite sinister looking with his beady staring eye and his dark gray feathers. It almost looks like he is wearing a long dark fur trimmed cape. His feet are quite speckled. I could definitely see using this one on a Halloween project!
This Vintage Flying Vulture Image does not represent the prettiest of Birds. That is for certain! But he is actually pretty spectacular though in his own way, isn’t he? This impressive graphic of a Bird in Flight was scanned from a prized book in my collection. It is a fantastic German Children’s Encyclopedia Bird Book!! The book is Circa 1878 and is filled with the most amazing Bird Prints and Engravings! A nice collection of Vintage Creepy Birds with Prey Pictures are included.
Birds with Prey Illustrations
I’m calling this one a Vintage Creepy Bird Image … because it’s a Bird; and he is pretty creepy looking! I am pretty sure that he would be another type of Vulture. You can see that he is eating what appears to be a part (yuk) of some type of Prey. This graphic was also scanned from the same Children’s Encyclopedia Bird Book.
Featured above is a Vintage Magpie with Mouse Image! Scanned from the Circa 1878 book, this is a wonderful Natural History Image of some sort of Black and White bird. This little guy has quite a sly look on his face. He has caught himself a meal. Poor little Mouse! The details of the Bird, Mouse, and Tree Limb on this illustration are truly quite splendid.
Here we see a couple of Hawks, one large one and one smaller one, on an old dead branch. The smaller one has caught some sort of rodent and is holding it with his toes.
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Birds of Prey Images! You might also like the Best Bird Images HERE or our Halloween Images HERE!
