Hi everyone, it’s andrea from The Cottage Market! How are you and how is your New Year going so far! Hope it is everything you imagined it to be. Well Valentine’s Day is right around the corner now so I have a fun and easy little Valentine DIY for you. We will be using The Graphics Fairy adorable little graphics of a vintage boy and girl, they are so adorable! You can use the large ones if you want to make a Valentine that is on the bigger side or you can use the print out for 4X5 ones…they were made to make your life easier! Plus it gives you an idea that you can do with so many of the other great images here. So let’s make some Cute as a Button Valentines!

You will need: Your printable, buttons, paint if you would like to paint them or your might be using regular little buttons, a scissor, glue, a pin back, 1 1/2″ wooden circles, a needle and thread and a sanding block.
Trim your print outs and cut your circle out.
There is excess room on the circle, that way when you glue it on the wooden disc you can then sand off the ends till they are perfect. I use a sanding block but regular sand paper works perfectly too. It’s quick…easy and accurate. You can paint your circle any color at all if you like! You can now apply an acrylic spray to finish the piece of a coat of Modge Podge or leave it as is…your choice.
Now it is time to add the bar pin in the back of the pin. You can use any glue you would like…I personally like hot glue.
Now make little marks where you will sew your buttons…get your threaded needle out and your buttons and…
Now simply sew the buttons onto the card (don’t they look cute) and the pin the little Valentine pin onto the card and it is ready to give to someone special!
Make a girl and a boy! Or make enough for everyone! You can pick some other graphics and apply the same process as these. They are sweet little Valentines.
There are sure to be a hit!
A perfect little duo that are as cute as a button!!!
So there you have it my friends…a cute…quick and easy little Valentine projects. Who will you be sending one to? I’ll be back before Valentine’s Day…but in the mean time you can visit me over at The Cottage Market. Hugs…andrea!
When you drop by…I will make you a Cannoli Ice Cream Cone and…
show you how to make the cool vintage style ice cream stand!
