St Patrick’s Day Postcards with Ladies
This is a lovely St Patricks Day Picture of a Lady with an extremely large Hat! Shown above is a beautiful Edwardian Woman wearing a great big Green Hat, with a matching Ribbon and Feathers on it. Such a pretty lady! The caption reads “The Wearing of the Green.” The artist is Ellen Clapsaddle, one of my favorite Postcard Artists!
Above is a fun and splendid antique postcard for St Patty’s Day! This one shows a young Woman inside of a giant Shamrock Clover. Loads of shamrocks surround the large clover. The girl is holding shamrocks in her hands. It says, “The dear little, Sweet little Shamrock of Ireland.” Nice and green!!
St Patricks Day Poetry Cards
Above is an adorable St Patrick’s Day Image!! This one shows a pretty lass in a lavish Green Dress sitting in a chair with her feet up on a tiny footstool. She is embroidering a Harp onto some fabric. This is another one by the talented artist Ellen Clapsaddle.
This is a lovely St Patrick’s Day Lady Image! The old Postcard shows a pretty Lady dressed in Green! She’s holding a Bouquet of Shamrocks! There is a flirty colleen poem across the bottom.
St Patrick’s Girls with Irish Sayings
This is simply a stunning St Patrick’s Day Clip Art Image! Shown here is a sweet young lady dressed in Green with a green Bonnet! I love the large bow. She appears to be carrying a small pot of Clover or Shamrocks. The text reads “The Wearing of the Green.” This is another from artist Ellen Clapsaddle.
This is a charming Irish Girl Picture! This old Postcard shows a pretty Lady dressed in Green and White! She’s holding a bunch of Shamrocks in her hand; the text reads “The Top of the Morning to You.” I think the artist for this one may be Ellen Clapsaddle, although I can’t say for certain since it isn’t signed.
St Patrick’s Clipart Images
Isn’t this a pretty Young Dancing Girl Image? Shown above is a Victorian Scrap die cut paper piece. This piece features a young girl in a Colonial type costume. She’s wearing a green dress and matching shoes, with a brown laced up bodice. She’s dancing merrily with her hand in the air, and the other hand on her skirt …perhaps she’s doing a jig!
Here’s a lovely Lass all dressed in Green! Her coat and hat looks like velvet. She sports a large cream bow around her neck. The small hat is quite elaborate with feathers and demure ruffles. Just gorgeous.
The final two images are seen above in this set. They are dressed in lovely patterned 18th Century French Costumes! Both ladies are wearing just a bit of Green.
Black and White St Patrick’s Day Clipart Ladies
This little lady is wearing a top hat and holding a basket full of Shamrocks! This would be a fun one to color in I think. This image was scanned from a recent addition to my collection, an old Circa 1941 Printer’s Catalog.
