Today’s reader feature is an absolutely gorgeous French Letter Postmark Tote Bag from Suzanne. Suzanne has a beautiful Etsy shop called Summer Song Cottage where she sells amazing handmade items and special finds. To create this bag, she printed The Graphic’s Fairy’s Vintage Ephemera Clip Art – Paris Letter With Postmark , used the CitriSolv method to transfer it onto a piece of painter’s drop cloth canvas, and made a market tote out of it! Isn’t it beautiful? I would love to have one for myself to take to the Farmer’s Market! You can visit Suzanne’s shop, Summer Song Cottage, HERE!

I’m having a hard time finding printers that are “toner based printers”. I’ve tried a few, and none seem to work. I have lots of CitriSolve, but can’t seem to transfer them from any prints I’ve had made. Jane, CitriSolve is a liquid cleaner that you can get at health food stores, and I think Home Depot. The problem I’m having is this: you need to make prints on a printer thats “Toner Based”. Can’t seem to find any

Kathy,…found this problem also.As I researched the problem , I found the difference between printers and copiers. At my last trip to Staples, I asked them if their copiers are toner based, which is actually a powder mixed with toner, as opposed to ink. Their printers are toner based which apparently is laser..not ink jet.
The Citrasolve worked with their copies for me.
Hope this helps!

The subject header of this post gave me a double take.
“French letter” is british slang for condom.

Thanks to everyone for your views and comments!
The CitriSolve transfer method can be found under the ‘Transfer’ tab at the top under “12 Easy Image Transfer Methods”.
I found my CitriSolve at a local drug store, RiteAid.
I only have a laser printer at this time so other methods using ink jet printers wouldn’t work for me and I was so happy to first find this method on Pinterest and then here on The Graphics Fairy!.
