12+ Old Photos Kids
Today we have a sweet collection of Old Photos of Kids! I must admit that I have a fascination with old photos, especially of children. I almost always buy them when I see them. Below we have some cuties for you. You will see an adorable little one on a pony and a few in fancy chairs. The set of Funny Babies with Chubby Cheeks might be my favorite. They just make me smile. We have others dressed in their finest and in rain gear, as well as winter coats. All are nice old pictures to use in your Mixed Media, Collage, or Card Making projects!
Old Photos Boys
Here’s an antique photo of a charming young man. He has a very slight smile and such a sweet looking face!
Vintage Photos Girls
This is a cute old photo showing a precious Child on a Pony! I think it’s interesting that they are not on a farm, but on the sidewalk in front of a house! Nice sepia tones on this one.
Above is a photo of an adorable child! This is an antique photo card showing a cute little child dressed all in white and looking a little bored, I think! The chair in this scene is a real show stopper with all the ornate carvings and the unusual shaped arms and legs!
Isn’t this fun?! This is an old photo postcard showing a little girl with Butterfly wings. She looks a bit like my daughter when she was the age. So cute!
Vintage Photos of Funny Babies
I know these aren’t actually Christmas per se, but the hats on these funny babies make them look like Santa’s elves!! I just can’t get over the adorable expressions on their faces. The the baby in the first two pictures is really straining with that basket for some reason and the one at the bottom is just all smiles. Perhaps he is collecting some greenery to make a holiday wreath!!I love their chubby cheeks.
Old Photos of Children with Siblings
Featured above is a Vintage Rainy Day Kids Photo! This is an antique photo of two cute boys dressed in long rain coats, rain hats, and rain boots. It looks like they are ready to enjoy some rainy day fun splashing in puddles!
This is a cute old photograph showing a darling little boy and girl… brother and sister I’m guessing with those similar intense looking eyes! It appears to be from around the 1920’s. The little girl is wearing a classic Cloche hat and fur trimmed coat. I love the Sepia tones!
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here is an interesting old picture of a sister and brother. There’s something about their faces that look almost adult like. They look so mature! This one is surrounded by an old black cardboard frame.
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Old Photos Kids! You might also like our Vintage Women Photos HERE and our Vintage Men Photos HERE.

Hi Karen,
It’s always nice to see these old photos of real people. I do get a big kick out of these brothers and sisters who seem to take picture taking, very seriously. I’m sure they mumble – “Let’s get this over with, will ya?” LOL! I can imagine the one in the suitcase is doing his own kind of cursing – “Get me outta here, NOW!!” LOL! These are so cute and thanks so much for sharing these with us with lots of chuckles!!

Haha! Yes, they had to stay still for a very long time too to get those photos back then. No fun at all!

I just got the 12 Kids photos!! They are are amazing, I called the one with the little guy do something, pooping baby. That is what my own kids and grandkids looked like. The baby in the satchel was so adorable. I have a picture of my oldest grandson in our suitcase when we were packing for a trip when he was a baby!
thank you for all of these!
Julie

Somewhere I have a photo of my oldest brother on a pony. The man came round and he took what they called a “tin Type”. It is quite dark but still enjoyable.

What a fun memory Kerrie, thanks so much for sharing 🙂

Karen, Kerrie is right. All over the country photographers came through neighborhoods with a pony. What Mom could say NO to a child who sees the pony? Great sales ploy for the guy with the camera! My dad’s photo is a cabinet card. 🙂
Karen Watson says
Hi Meg, yes I could see that it would be very difficult to say no to that! Smart tactic by those photographers!

Hi Karen,
Awww, what a fabulous collection of darlings! Wow, I love these! The stubborn child is hilarious with the pout on his face that is ready to kill. LOL! The babies are all sweeties – the one who is straining is the one I wonder about. LOL! He’s either straining, digging deep or letting go of something else. LOL! So adorable!
The cutie all dressed in white posing so patiently in that fabulous ornate chair is one of my favourites!
The boys in their raincoats have nothing to worry about – they really are covered from head to toe. I get a kick out of the long length on their sleeves.
And the last one with the lovely girl and baby are simply adorable!
Thanks so much for sharing all of these fabulous photos!!
Enjoy your weekend and keep safe!

Many years ago, when I was a young child (probably about 4 years old) my mother had photos taken of me and my btother on a similar pony in front of out home. I think it was common for photographers to do this because the pony is an instant attention getter for the children. Many mothers have trouble saying no to such a photo opportunity. Although I have two brothers, there were only two pony photos, so one brother was either not born yet or too little to sit on the pony.

I remember that too Joan, the old traveling pony photographer 🙂 Sweet memories, thanks so much for sharing!
