9 Camel Images
Today we have a wonderful collection of Camel Images! You’ve probably noticed that I’m sneaking in a few more Christmas related images lately. I want to get some things posted now for my crafty readers that I know are already making things for the Holidays. These guys of course fit the mode. After all, the Three Wise Men rode them as seen in one of our images below! I think this would be wonderful to use on a Church Program for a Christmas Eve Service, or nice for a Sunday School Project! Featured are all sorts of this lovely species, that would fit all different types of projects. We have both full color and black and white drawings of these special animals in this series. All are nice pictures to Holiday Invitations or Card Making projects!
Vintage Camel Images
This is a great Vintage Camel Picture! Shown above is a wonderful Illustration done in full color. He’s quite a lovely looking animal I think! Definitely unique in the Animal kingdom. This one was scanned from an Antique Print in my collection. Pictured above is a Circus Camel dressed in a colorful red and beige riding outfit with some heavy duty straps. I think he has such a sweet looking face. They truly are gentle and kind animals.
Fit and trim, this camel is all packed up and ready to go! He or she seems to be prancing in the desert with some packages and a red blanket on her back.
Unusual Camel Pictures
Vintage Guanaco Camel Image
Featured above is a Vintage Guanaco Camel Image! Such a sweet looking animal! It is native to Peru. This one comes from a Circa 1885 German Natural History Book. Around here we call this book “the Moldy Book,” as it was so full of mold when it arrived that some of the pages were completely black! I actually sent it out to a mold remediation company. They picked it up from my house and cleaned it in their offices, then brought it back. That’s the first time that I’ve had to do that! I was so glad that they were able to salvage it because there are some wonderful images in that book!
Black and White Camel Drawings
These wonderful Engravings come from an 1877 Animals Book. The intricate details on these is quite impressive. The first species has one hump and the second has two. Such fine natural history type illustrations I think!
Scanned from a Circa 1868 Children’s Magazine, this Antique Engraving displays a beautiful Illustration of two Camels… a Mother and a Baby. So cute!
