8 Geranium Images
Today we have a magnificent collection of Geranium Images! From beautiful full color Botanical Illustrations to black and white Coloring Images, we have something for every Geranium lover in this set. Most fun is the adorable Flower Fairy with her bright red petal dress! I hope you can use these lovely Geraniums in your art! All are nice pictures to use in your Floral Craft or Collage Projects! These would make such cute cards!! Perhaps you could use them for Mother’s Day as well.
Geranium Botanical Illustrations
Here is the latest addition to this collection. Shown above is a lovely Christmas card showing our Flower of the hour! Haha. Well really, the colors are red and green, so I guess it makes sense to use for a holiday themed card. 🙂
Isn’t this a Spectacular Red Geranium Botanical Image? The broad, circular, palmately cleft geranium leaf is proudly front and center of this drawing. The five petaled red flowers and buds burst from a thin stem above the leaf. There is even a tiny bud peeking out from under the blooms. Beautiful!
Here’s another one from the Instant Art Series! This is a beautiful Vintage Botanical of some bright and happy Geraniums! It comes from an 1879 Garden book. It is a card with a blue background and wide white frame. The geraniums are pink, white, red, and variegated with dark green leaves. The writing says, “Group of Geraniums.” Such a great Old Fashioned look!!
Pictured above is a lovely Vintage Geranium Leaf picture! Shown here is a bright green Leaf drawing with dark areas indicated and heavy cross hatching strokes. The rounded shape is just splendid. The leaf was scanned from a delightful Circa 1874 British Design Book. It is truly fun to examine! The illustration is beautifully drawn.
Antique Black and White Geranium Images
I just adore this hanging Victorian Planter Image! It came out of an 1870’s Garden Book from London. I love how ornate this small urn is! It has an unadorned rim over a basin with a harlequin pattern encircling it. Above the rim is an open scrollwork band. The ‘finial’ hanging off the bottom has a handsome shape. The plant reminds me of geranium leaves with tiny stems hanging over the edges of the planter.
Above is a really lovely Wild Geranium Drawing Image! Scanned from an Antique Design book, it is from a chapter that explained how nature can be used in Design. I thought this flower illustration was just so pretty! Perhaps it might be fun to color this one in with markers or watercolors!

Here we have a printable of some Wild Geraniums growing in a Meadow. This image was scanned from a Vintage coloring book in my collection. The book does not have a copyright date in it, but appears to have been made around the 1950′s. I don’t actually know which colors the wild geraniums come in. If you don’t know either, just pick your favorite color and go for it! Yay!! Such fun Retro printables!
Geranium Flower Fairy Graphic
This is a gorgeous Flower Fairy Clipart Image for you to play with! The Vintage Flower Fairy is a Geranium I think. She is holding a geranium leaf like a giant fan. Her dress is covered with red blossoms. I love the green tights with a tiny red blossom on each toe. Can’t you just imagine this little darling dancing through your garden? She is from a Circa 1910 Children’s Book, illustrated by Elizabeth Gordon. Fun!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection. You might also like the 190+ Images in our Botanical Archives HERE or the 150+ Images in our Gardening Clip Art and Graphics Archives HERE!

Lovely flower!!! Anyhow, I was confused by the picture name Geranium. Here in Finland these are called Pelargoniums and cranesbills are Geraniums. I checked Geranium from Wikipedia and found the answer: “Confusingly, “geranium” is also the common name of members of the genus Pelargonium, which are also in the Geraniaceae family and are widely grown as horticultural bedding plants. Linnaeus originally included all the species in one genus, Geranium, but they were later separated into two genera by Charles L’Héritier in 1789. Other former members of the genus are now classified in Erodium, including the plants known as filarees in North America.” (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geranium). Here in Finland we call Pelargoniums “pelargoni(a)” or “pelakuu” and Geraniums are “kurjenpolvi” (the knee of a common crane) or “juhannuskukka” (the Midsummer flower) and the name Geranium is hardly ever used in the common language. So, no risk of name confusion here. Problem solved! 🙂

Hi Karen,
My favourites are the Hanging Victorian Planter and the Wild Geranium Drawing.
But this Victorian Planter is absolutely gorgeous! The small urn these flowers sit in is so unique, so different and eye catching – it looks like one of those ceiling light fixtures with a frosted bowl with faint flower etchings engraved into it. I have one in my office but it is very close to the ceiling. When you turn on the light, you can see the flower engravings on the frosted glass.
The rim is beautifully done with the ornate features as you have described. I love this! And the urn itself would beautify any plant you would put into it!
Thank you for sharing these with us! It’s very much appreciated!
Enjoy your weekend and keep safe!
