Santa Drawing Step 1
Step 1: Let us start with Santa Claus’ body. To do that, we need to draw a rounded triangle shape.
Step 2
Step 2: Then, we’ll add St Nick’s head, arms, and legs. For the big guy’s head, draw a bread loaf-like shape on top of the body. Then add the arms by two curved lines with ends connected to the body. And, put the legs by sketching two hourglasses at the bottom.
Step 3
Step 3: Now, we’ll sketch St. Nicholas’ mustache, nose, and hat. To put the nose, draw a small circle in the middle of its head. Then, add the mustache by drawing a slanted “S” on one side of the nose. Do the same on the other side. Then, outline the mouth by putting a curved line between the mustache. And, lastly, add the hat by drawing a cone that is slightly bent halfway.
Step 4
Step 4: Next, draw the clothes by adding rectangular outlines at the edge of St Nicholas’ clothing, for his fur trim. Draw the belt by putting two straight lines along the belly. And, finish the belt buckle by sketching two squares in the middle of the straight lines.
Step 5
Step 5: Now, it’s time to add our famous guy’s face. Sketch two bean-shaped eyebrows and closed eyes beneath them. Lastly, draw the mouth by putting a small black dot below his mustache.
Step 6
Step 6: And finally, make your Father Christmas say his trademark “ho ho ho” sound, by adding several short slanted lines below his mouth.
The only thing left to do now is to color in your adorable fellow! Go grab your markers, Crayola crayons, oil pastels or color pencils, or whatever you have on hand, and finish your artwork masterpiece! This one is colored in with red and white clothes and brown skin, but you can let your creativity go wild and use whatever colors you like! You get to decide!
