5 Buffalo Images
Today we have a beautiful collection of Vintage Buffalo Images! But more than just Buffalos, we also have a Musk Ox and a Bull as well, as they are all similar types of animals. These are all wonderful Natural History Illustrations, most in color with the exception of the Buffalo Silhouette. I’m not sure how you guys will use these, but I’m sure you will come up with some creative ways to use these in your Craft projects or Collage work, or Junk Journals.
Buffalo Images
Here is a great Vintage Buffalo Image! This fellow has his head down like he is either shy or ready to charge. In this stance you can clearly see the hump on his back between his shoulders. This image comes from a Circa 1885 German Natural History book known as “the Moldy Book” as it was so full of mold when it arrived! I actually sent it out to a mold remediation company. That’s the first time that I’ve had to do that! I was so glad that they were able to salvage it because there are some wonderful images in that book!

Bull Image
Here we have a Vintage Bull Image from a Circa 1840’s Natural History Print! According to the print this Bull is an Aurochs, which apparently is a form of Cattle that is now extinct. It is the ancestor of the domestic Cattle that we have today. Such an interesting graphic I think! He’s quite a fierce looking specimen with those big, sharp looking horns and his large size!
Musk Ox Clipart
Featured above is an impressively detailed Vintage Musk Ox Image! He has long horns that circle down around his head. This guy has long and shaggy brownish black hair all over his body to keep him warm during Winter. His short, powerful legs are white or gray, which is much lighter than his coat. He has a fairly peaceful expression on his face. This superb image comes from the Circa 1885 German Natural History “Moldy Book.”
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Buffalo Images!! You might also like our nice collection of 22 Deer and Antlers Clipart Images HERE!
