6 Wild Ostrich Images

Did you know that the Ostrich is the largest living birds on Earth, and they can run as fast as a horse! In this collection you will find several really beautiful Vintage Ostrich Images! This is a wonderful Vintage Ostrich Image! This one comes from an Antique German Print that featured different exotic looking Birds on it. The print is huge and can’t be scanned all at one time, but I was able to scan this guy in his entirety and thought he was quite useful on his own! According to the print his is a Struthio Camelus, which sounds quite impressive, but it’s actually a “Common Ostrich”.

This is a wonderful Old Ostrich Image from an Antique Children’s Encyclopedia! Make sure you enlarge this one to see the gorgeous detail on this graphic, it’s pretty amazing! He looks very similar to the one above, but his feathers seem a bit wider. And oh my goodness … those toes!

Here’s a fun Picture of an Ostrich! This is a fun little postcard showing this giant bird near some very tall Palm Trees. There is a sunset, or perhaps it’s a sunrise, off in the distance by a range of mountains. I love the sky blue frame on this one. These guys often have such inquisitive looking expressions like you see in the image above. I wonder what they are thinking about?

Black and White Ostrich Clipart

This is another new one that I added. This is a beautifully detailed Black and White Ostrich Clipart Picture. His plumes are well defined and just gorgeous! Make sure you click on him to see all of the fine details in person. This one is nice when you want to something neutral colored for your crafts.

This is the latest addition to this collection. This little guy is a cute baby! Look how fluffy and downy his feathers are. I love the expression on his face too!

Vintage Cassowary Bird Image

This is one is actually a Cassowary from an Antique Natural History Print! He is a sort of cousin the Ostrich. He has some very showy features on this neck and head with those red and blue bits in the picture. This one has incredible detail as far as the artwork goes , it’s truly a beautiful engraving with great coloring!
