Today we have a sweet collection of 6 Vintage Sketches of Children! The images featured below are beautiful black and white pencil drawings of adorable children. Most of them are wearing cute hats. We see a Bonnet, Straw Hat, Top Hat, and Wide Brim Hat to name a few. The detail of these artworks is stunning. They appear to be by the same artist since the identical circular seal is on most of them. All are nicely illustrated pictures to use in your Vintage Craft or Collage Projects! I think the entire set of sketches would be great to frame and hang on a nursery or children’s room wall.

How cute is this Vintage Pencil Portrait of Sweet Girl? This pencil sketch of a cute little girl with a big smile and bright eyes is just adorable. The Artist is truly amazing! The drawing is so real to life. I can actually feel her joy and happiness. She has curly hair with a bow to one side. Her mouth is slightly open showing her perfect baby teeth. There is a seal of some sort on the bottom of the sketch. Perhaps it is the artist’s signature symbol! This seal is seen on all but one the subsequent images as well.

Here we have a Vintage Sketch of a Chubby Cheek Girl in a Bonnet! In this delightful portrait drawing, a chubby-cheeked little girl peeks out from under the brim of her beautiful bonnet. She has flirty big eyes and a shy smile. Blond curls encircle her face. The bonnet has wide ribbons loosely tied under her chin.

Pictured above is a nice Old Fashioned Smiling Child in Wide Brim Hat Image! A wide-eyed child peeks out from under an enormous wide brimmed floppy hat in this special drawing. She has chubby cheeks with short hair that frames her face with fringe. I imagine that she must be wearing her Mother’s hat; she is smiling shyly as she poses.

Featured above is a Vintage Adorable Child in a Furry Hat and Bow Image! In this pencil drawing, a charming child with big eyes wears a delightful furry top hat and a gigantic bow under his chin. He has chubby cheeks and curly hair. That smile is infectious!

This Vintage Adorable Child in Straw Hat Image is just so sweet! The wide-eyed child (I think it is a boy) is so precious in his straw hat. He has beautiful curls and an open mouth. It almost looks like he is singing! His big, dark eyes are sparkling in this pencil drawing.

Above we have a Antique Sketch of a Happy Child in Top Hat! In this delightful pencil drawing, an adorable little boy with curly hair sports a large black top hat. He is in profile, looking to the left. Just a smidge of a fancy shirt with bows at the shoulder is visible.

  It may have been in copyright at some point, hence the mark with 1912. As far as we know, the images are in the Public Domain, we do our due diligence and we are very careful about what we use, however we can not give you a 100% guarantee. We have never had a problem with copyright and these images have been manufactured all over the world, appeared in nearly every home decor magazine out there, and are even used by a major motion picture studio.
  But you will still want to weigh the risks and decide if you are comfortable with using them or not. There is always a small risk when using these things, as the laws are different in every country.
