3 Raccoon Images
Today I’m sharing some adorable Vintage Raccoon Images. Raccoons are one of the most common animals in North America. They’re nocturnal, omnivorous, and have a lot of personality! They’re also quite intelligent – they can easily open doors or jars when they want to get food. They are a common animal that people may see in their backyards, looking for food. In nature, raccoons live near water and eat fish or crayfish. They have a strong sense of smell and great hearing which is why it’s important to keep garbage cans tightly sealed so they don’t get into our homes!
Full Color Raccoon Image
This guy was extracted from the Natural History print that you see below. He looks a bit different than the kind we see today, I’m not sure it this is a particular type of species or if they changed over time. Perhaps they look different in different parts of the world too. He does have his mask and his ringed tail, but the tale looks quite thin.
Natural History Raccoon Print
This is a fabulous 1830’s Natural History print! The print shows a beautiful Raccoon. So cute! I’ve included a full size printable download for you so that you can print it out.
Black and White Raccoon Clipart
This is an old black and white Clipart Illustration of a cute Raccoon. This one is from a rare early 1900’s Printer’s book. He’s quite a chunky looking guy and his coat looks quite thick. A very healthy looking Raccoon I think!

Thank you so much for this image and thank you also for putting the name of your site as part of the file name! I really like to give credit to the source of an image when I use it so others can find it if they are interested. It’s so much easier to keep track if they’re marked this way. I try to always add it if it isn’t in the title, but sometimes I forget so it’s great that you’ve gone ahead and done it for us. I love your site! Thank you!
