This is a wonderful collection of Vintage Wasp Nest Images! I always loved finding Wasp Nests when I was a kid … well as long as the Wasps were no longer in them that is! They are such interesting habitats. So delicate and papery looking and intricately designed. Yet sturdy enough to withstand wind, rain and storms. I hope you enjoy the interesting images below. Our First Wasp Nest picture shows a nest hanging from a tree branch. There are 2 Wasps directly under it. I’m guessing one is a male and one is the female as they look quite different from each other.

This is another fabulous Vintage Wasp Nest Image! This offering was scanned from an early Natural History Book in my collection. It’s a simple nest hanging from some sort of piece of wood, perhaps a house shingle? The nest has been vacated by the insects that once lived in it.
