11 Cervidae Images (Deer Family)
Today we have a beautiful collection of Cervidae Images (Deer Family). Cervidae is the name given to the Deer Family of Hoofed Animals. We have all of our Deer images in a different collection which you can find HERE, so they are sort of the cousins of the Deer. We have Antelope, Elk, and Moose Clipart and will add more over time. There are several High-Resolution PDF Printables perfect for framing in this set. I think that all the images below would be great for Christmas or Winter Craft or DIY Projects!
Beautiful Antelope Prints
Click HERE for the Full Size Printable PDF of the Running Antelope Image
This one shows some a beautiful Antelope running through the wilderness! I’ve created a High Resolution download for you, so that you can print it out and Frame it right up! This one comes from an 1840’s book.
Featured above is a very sweet antique Natural History Print. These Antelope have such dear little faces! Perhaps this is a baby Antelope with his parents in the wild. I think this one would be especially nice for Christmas in a woodland theme, although you could use it any time you like. I’m offering it in a printable high resolution PDF, so that you can print it up and Frame it for your home, or give as a gift!
Vintage Reindeer Family Printable
Swoon! This is an extraordinary 1860’s Natural History Print!! The print shows a scene of three beautiful, muscular Reindeer wandering through a snowy forest. It appears that they might be foraging for food amidst the deep snow. I splurged on this one, but I think it was well worth it!! I’ve created a High Resolution Instant Art print, but I’m sure you’ll think of so many uses for this one in your Christmas and Holiday projects!!
Antique Elk Images
This is a beautiful Elk Image from the titled “The Elk’s Parade” Sheet Music cover below. I’ve split out the darling Elk with the Wreath Detail for you above. That is one tough looking animal with such large and strong antlers. I love those large, intense looking eyes. That heavy fur is definitely a necessity for the cold wintry weather!
Here we have a true favorite of mine. I bought this one at auction in a big box lot full of sheet music. It is an amazing Antique Sheet Music Cover!!! There are so many fabulous Elements in this one. The cover is titled “The Elk’s Parade” and reads, “March Two-Step.” It has an Elk in the center that is on top of a great looking Shield Shape and surrounded by Scrolls! The original is Dark Green, but I am giving you a Black and White version. I hope you have fun with this one!
Well now, you don’t see this everyday! Today I’m offering this super quirky Vintage Lady with Elk Man Image! I have to admit, I’m not entirely sure if the Man is an Elk, or a Moose, or what exactly. But shown above is a Victorian Woman leading around an Animal Man by the nose. Such a curious looking Scrap piece. This one might make a funny card, perhaps you could come up with a clever caption for it.
Here is the latest addition to this collection. This guy is a Primitive looking Elk Image from an Antique Natural History book.
Moose Clipart
This is a wonderful old engraving of a Moose Head! I think it has a great “Lodge Look.” The antlers are big with many points. He has such a sweet looking expression, doesn’t he?
This next Moose Clipart is a wonderful full color Natural History Illustration. His Antlers are quite magnificent!
Carabou Images
Here we have a wonderful Carabou Image! He has huge Antlers and a bit of a sad look in his eye. He is beautifully illustrated though.
This is another Carabou Picture. This guy looks quite proud and her certainly should with those magnificent Antlers! His head looks so small compared to all of that, that’s going on up on top!
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Cervidae Images! You might also like our Best Animal Images HERE and our Best Merry Christmas Images HERE.

Thank you for the historical art images that you are collecting and providing to the public.
I am not into crafting; however, your e mail is my daily go-to place for peer into the past through its art.
Your e mails have provided a daily cheerful, hopeful moment during a dreary pandemic isolation.
However, today I also wish to thank you for another reason.
I have mostly stopped sending snail mail Christmas cards in favor of e mail ones.
Your Christmas images are the perfect cover for an e mail message.
Thank you and a Merry Christmas to you.
You have helped to make mine merrier.
