Group Photos of Women
This is a wonderful antique photo of a group of happy Victorian ladies wading in a pond or stream! I’ve had this one for many many years, it’s so unusual to find a picture like this, where the women aren’t composed and serious. They are actually smiling and having fun! And the decorative embossed frame is a nice bonus.
This is a marvelous rare photo! These 4 young women are wearing similar stylish outfits. Each with a long skirt, puffed sleeve blouse and straw hat. One of the ladies in the center is holding a huge Magnolia bloom.
I found this fun Old Photo inside an Antique Shop in Central Pennsylvania. Here we have 11 sweet Ladies all in a row. I love that they are also smiling and seem to be having fun. I wonder what the connection was with this group. Perhaps they were students or members of some sort of Society.
Here we have 3 young ladies, sisters perhaps … or maybe just friends. They are riding around the living room in a tiny metal car!
Next we have a fabulous profile shot of 5 sultry looking Ladies. I think these group profile pictures are so interesting! They all look quite serious don’t they?
Here we have four beautiful Girls, wearing Vintage lace outfits, smile shyly in this hand painted photo. The elaborate gowns of pink, green, gold, and teal have lace and embroidered details. Their dark hair has been permed and curled around their faces
This is an Old Photo Postcard showing three pretty Ladies in a Field of Dandelions! All three ladies are wearing white dresses, they each have a Dandelion in hand, ready to send it’s fluffy seeds into the air. Such a fun picture!
This is an antique postcard, showing 4 women having Tea! It looks like they have a nice Chocolate Bundt Cake to go with it. This is another one that would be cute for a Mother’s Day Card or Birthday card.
School Photos of Children
Here we have a fantastic Old Photo of School Children. This is such an interesting picture; if you enlarge it you can see the expressions on their faces. Many of the boys are smirking or fidgeting, and some of them are blurry from moving around. The girls however have such somber expressions on their faces and are sitting quietly with their hands folded neatly. The school teacher looks quite young, and you can see several photos of Abe Lincoln on the wall next to her. The sepia tones on this one are nice.
Aren’t Old School Photos the best?!! This one has a nice frame card surrounding it. Everyone is dressed in their finest clothes. They are in front of an old brick schoolhouse. Do you ever wonder why people rarely smile in old photos?
Images of Children at Play
Seen above is an adorable Old Photo showing a group of Children wearing cute Costumes! They appear to be Fairy Tale Costumes. I see some ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’ outfits. My friend Marian from Miss Mustard Seed let me borrow this one to share with you guys! Isn’t it cute? The little girl sitting on the railing in the rear left side is Marian’s Grandmother. That must be where she got her pretty curly hair from!
Here we have a charming Old Photo of some Children Dressed in Costumes! It appears to be some sort of Pageant or School Play. I love their white hats. Most of the girls have bouquets in their hands. Darling!
Pictured above is a fun Old Photo of Children Dressed in Costumes! It appears to be a type of Play. Each one has some sort of horn in their hands and the cutest hats on their heads. All of them are dressed in dark shorts and white blouses except for one girl. She has a beautiful dress and flowers in her hair.

That photo is perfect for the way we felt on our day out!
It was such a pleasure and surprise to meet you. I shop at that little corner of Lucketts every time I am in town. My fairy grand baby’s tea party plates came from you. They are plastic, so perfect for a 2 year old, but have roses, so make me happy too. I will enjoy them even more now, knowing that they came from your shop.
