Hi everyone, it’s Andrea from The Cottage Market. I have a fun little DIY for you today. One that you can make in any style you want to fit your home decor or desk. It is a little Vintage DIY Note Holder or it can be a Notion Holder…your choice. It is pretty and oh so easy to make. I chose a butterfly print…but of course you know that you have a plethora of images to choose from here at The Graphics Fairy. Let’s get to creating!
You will need: A piece of 1 inch thick wood (size of your choice…mine is 5X7)…smaller is very cute also and you would only need one leg, then you will need a little wooden knob, 2 small wooden candle holders (I got them at my craft store…they are very inexpensive and you can get them at any craft store like Michael’s…JoAnne’s…etc…, a print, paint, glue, clothespin, scissors, a little notion or note.
Cut you image out.
Paint the block on the sides and the back and also paint the knob and legs in the color of your choice. Allow to dry.
Brush glue on the entire front and place your image on it…smooth it out and allow it to dry. After it is dry…sand the edges for a worn look and also to have a custom fit.
Glue on your clothespin.
Now glue on the legs and the top decorative knob with hot glue.
Then you are ready to add a note…a little notion…anything you would like! It’s pretty and fun! Create one that fits your style!
Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy little DIY today! I will be back really soon with a Spring Project that I hope you will enjoy. Till then…I will be hanging out as always over at The Cottage Market…drop by any time!
Before you go…can I offer you dessert? Try this sweet treat…Salted Caramel Brownie Parfait…yum!
