17 Amazing Chair Transformations
Today I am sharing some amazing chair transformations with you. We all have chairs and, even though their primary purpose is to be functional, that doesn’t mean they can be gorgeous too. Each of these projects features a graphic {or more} from The Graphics Fairy.
I had such a great time putting together this collection. There are so many options for transforming chairs. I hope one of these inspires you to create a project of your own.
This French Franc stool comes from Art is Beauty. They took a barstool from the dumpster and transformed it using the French Franc image.
How awesome is this chair for the Bride to Be from Homeroad? The vintage crown transfer printable looks so perfect on the seat of the chair.
This French Chair makeover comes from Vintage Songbird. She used the French grain sack with wreath image for the perfect finishing touch.
Another total beauty from Vintage Songbird, this couch makeover is just stunning. I love the hotel sign typography iron on she used on the back of the piece.
This stool makeover is too fun. Vintage Reflections used the Pointing hand steampunk graphic on the top for the perfect addition.
One of our readers, Chris Champagne, shared this fabulous crown chair. The royal crown image looks stunning on it.
Boring old folding chairs are totally a thing of the past. I love how Cupcakes and Crinoline used the French wreath with bee image to transform this folding chair.
This grainsack chair comes from Otherwise Occupied. The image they chose fits so perfectly with the style and fabric of the chair.
This chalk painted chair comes from another reader, Donna Eller. She finished the chair using the beautiful lavendar botanical image.
Gina, from the Shabby Creek Cottage, took the fabulous crown clip art, and used it to transform this gorgeous French inspired chair.
This seahorse chair comes from another reader, Patty Williams. She used the twin seahorses clip art.
Not only does Moonbeams and Fireflies have a super cute dog, this chair they transformed looks fantastic too. I live the combination of the “Sit” and the Victorian pointing hand clip art.
These vintage numbered chairs come from Nice and Easy Antiques. They used the vintage numbers on the top for the perfect finishing touch.
Red Rock Rose Boutique totally transformed this couch and completed it with gorgeous pillows featuring a fabulous crown image.
This gorgeous French chair makeover comes from The Cedar Shake Cape. Complete with the French grain sack with wheat wreath image, this chair makes me want to curl up and read and good book.
Even kids want super cute chairs. Madigan Made created this adorable painted flower chair using the tulip and petunia images.
Painting a chair is another great way to transform it. SK Sartel painted the poppy image onto this chair for a totally new creation.

The lavender chair is lovely! Did Donna use ordinary white paper to print the lavender images on? Or did she use a special paper? I’d love to know! TIA!
