Today’s reader feature is this is this Beautiful Conch Shell Sign, submitted by our friend Michele Michael. First Michele used some free wood pallets, cut them to size, and stapled and glued the pieces together. She then painted the whole sign with a white chalk paint. Michele used black paint and floral stencils to embellish the corners. Next Michele coated the entire surface with a clear wax, and transferred our shell image by printing it out, cutting to size, and using mod podge to adhere it to the wood. For her final step she added the word listen, and a paper clay rose.
This is such a lovely project! Thank you, Michele, for sharing your talents with us! To visit more of Michele’s projects, please visit her Blog site here. To learn how to transfer images yourself, visit the Transfer Methods Page.
